- בִּיבָרm. (vivarium, βιβάριον) vivarium, an enclosure in which live game, fish (also wild beasts) are kept. Snh.39a לשדיוה לב׳ must be thrown into the vivarium. Ib. שדיוהוכ׳ they threw him but they (the beasts) did not eat him. Bets.24a; a. fr.Pl. בִּיבָרִים, בִּיבָרִין. Ib. III, 1; a. fr. v. בִּיבָרְיָא.
